Men and Boys together Against GBV
Some 30 Men and Boys trained as HerShe against GBV. The 16days activism spiced with the community led approach with men and Boys engaged by United Youths Organization with support from UN women, UN CERF funds. Speaking at the launching Melvin Songwe who doubles as the Project Manager and a He4She advocate challenged the men on issues of GBV, thier role in fighting against GBV . This he engaged the men from Belo to remain advocates even after the launching of activities for Belo, Batibo and Bamenda for the 16days. The men had opportunity to talk on issues of GBV with one of consultant Dina Ngum. This exercise planned for the three communities was certified with men pledging thier signatures with their names written in the backdrop to join women and continue the prevention, mitigation and response to GBV. This was done under the global theme; Orange the world: End violence on women!
