Psychosocial Workers at the service of GBV Survivors

Through survivor-centered GBV case management and support services, psychosocial workers of United Youths organization in Belo communities, Boyo Division and Batibo communities Momo division offer individualized, ongoing assistance to help survivors recover from traumatic incidents and receive help based on their needs and choices. One of the key focuses is to accompany survivors’ access healthcare services in the ongoing Humanitarian context, conflict and displacement in the North West and South West regions of Cameroon. These services include GBV case management services through health centers where survivors have access to both medical, psychosocial support, regular medical visits to remote communities through the Household visit and community dialogue strategy offering Pre and post-GBV health services, clinical care and medical bill coverage for survivors, clinical management of rape, and referrals, care, linkages and support to selected health facilities in Belo (Mbingo Baptist Hospital and Belo Health center Kitchu) and Batibo (Batibo District hospital, Saint John Hospital and Guzang Health Center).
