PROGRAMS

This is a vocational institution/opportunity where women and girls with and without disabilities are trained and empowered on income generating activities. This center gives more opportunities to orphans and vulnerable persons with disabilities, widows, and the “Mbororo” minority. The program trains for a period of 6 months to 2 years depending on need assessment.

The Inclusive Empowerment and Mentorship Conference for Girls (IEMCOG) provides educative talks and experience sharing on topical and contemporary issues affecting them amongst which include SGBV issues, menstrual hygiene, peace building, boosting self-esteem and more.

This program provides psychosocial support services such as case management, counselling, referrals, Psychological First Aid, sensitization activities on GBV, advocacy for He4She and more. The He4She advocacy is a land mark engaging men/boys at the front line in the fight against S/GBV.

This program is a mainstream activity that ensures all programs and activities of the organization take into consideration intentional efforts of including persons with disabilities be it hearing impaired, speech, mobility and/or visual impairment. The program does not only work on advocacy and inclusion but ensure service providers provide holistic services in a more inclusive manner by breaking the barriers put in place by the society.
