Yukfu Sylvie Bantar, is the Public Relations Officer for United Youths Organisation where her responsibilities involve creating communication content including news releases, social media contents, blog posts and ensuring the website is up-to-date. She is also responsible to respond to communication needs of the organization through communication outreach and archiving of media content as well as designing strategic communication plans for the organization.
Yukfu holds a Master of science in Corporate Communication and a B.Sc. in Journalism and Mass Communication all from the University of Buea, Cameroon. She is a fellow for International Women Media Foundation (IWMF) for Global Health Reporting Initiative for Vaccines and Immunization in Africa, member of the Cameroon Association of English-Speaking journalists (CAMASEJ), Cameroon Association of Media Professionals (CAMP) amongst others.
Yukfu equally stands out as journalist with the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) media house with over 9 years of working experience. She is known for her famous TV programs and documentaries such as “Dr. on Call”; a health program where she demonstrates a high level of mastery in health reporting. Her assertiveness and leadership skills have earned her multiple opportunities to serve as Editor In Chief on interim bases.
